Bournemouth is a fantastic place to ride a bike. Whether you are a new rider or accomplished rider there is something for everyone.

The possibilities for exploring the town and wider area by bike are endless. We’ve put a selection of our favourite rides together below to get you started.

Park to Park 3 Miler - Explore Littledown and Kings Park on this quiet route perfect for all the family.

Bourne Valley Greenway 3 Miler - Take a gentle pootle through Bournemouth’s award winning parks on this traffic free cycle ride.

Stour Valley Explorer 8.5 miler - Discover one of Bournemouth’s hidden gems on this ride exploring Stour Valley Local Nature Reserve.

Sandbanks or Bust 12 miler - Take in stunning views of Poole Harbour and Brownsea Island on this loop of Sandbanks.

Pier to Pier 13 miler - Please note: Cycling on the promenade is not allowed between 10am and 6pm in July and August - during this time make the most of the light mornings and evenings. Cruise along and enjoy 7 miles of golden beaches and magnificent views on this seafront ride.

Bournemouth Coast and River Delight 13.5 miler - Make the most of the town’s natural beauty on this ride along the seafront and up to the River Stour.
